October thru April 10s of thousands Snow Geese (Chen caerulescens) (and other birds and raptors) winter in our valleys. In Spring they return to the frozen northern regions of North America. From Stanwood, Wa. USA

I enlarged for better viewing. I would NOT want that many flying over me at one time.........I would sure be an easy target. YUK!
We have Canadian Geese in these numbers. But recently they've started to stay the whole year around (U.S.) Your photo is impressive! :)
